Optical Array and Extended Spectrum Mixing
The GML THUNDER B18 IP is a high-power, battery-operated outdoor floodlight engineered inside an IP65 cast-aluminum housing. The emitter matrix integrates 18 × 20W RGBWA+UV 6-in-1 LEDs. Incorporating amber, white, and ultraviolet diodes expands the color gamut, enabling precise CCT calibration from 2700K to 10000K in 300K steps. The optical train is available in 10° or 20° lens profiles, accommodating optional 4-leaf barn doors and frost diffusion filters. An ultra-high 64 kHz dimming frequency prevents flicker on camera sensors.
Battery Endurance and Power Infrastructure
The onboard 24,000 mAh 18650 lithium battery pack is rated for over 500 charge cycles. Operational endurance reaches 3 hours under full RGBWA+UV output, up to 15 hours on a single color, and 7 hours in automated cycle mode. Rapid recharge completes within 3 hours, achieving full charge in 8 hours. Universal AC 100–250V 50/60Hz charging is integrated.
Control Interfaces and Weatherproof Chassis
The rugged IP65 enclosure provides convection thermal dissipation. Configuration options include USITT DMX512, 2.4G Wireless W-DMX, handheld IR remote, and mobile app control. The OLED touch screen includes dedicated CCT shortcut keys and run-time timer presets (2/4/6/8 hours). DMX channel modes include 2, 6, 8, and 11 channels.
