Optical System and Color Mixing
The GML PAR 1820 IP is a full-scale stage and architectural luminaire housed in an IP65 weatherproof enclosure. The light engine features 18 multi-chip 20W LEDs configured as RGBW 4-in-1 (with optional RGBWA and RGBWA+UV configurations). The optical train delivers a 25° beam angle. Tunable CCT ranges from 3000K to 7600K alongside flicker-free management suitable for broadcast studio and video recording applications.
Mechanical Build and IP65 Enclosure
The chassis is constructed from die-cast aluminum alloy. Complete IP65 ingress protection and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +45°C enable operation in outdoor festivals, facade illumination, and harsh environment installations. The luminaire weighs 5.5 kg in a black finish (white housing available as an option).
Control and Connectivity
The electronic dimming system provides stepless 0–100% linear control. The strobe operates from 0.3 to 20 flashes per second (up to 20 Hz). Control protocols include USITT DMX512 and RDM across 4 or 8 DMX channels. The rear connection panel features weatherproof Seetronic PowerCON TRUE1 In/Out and Seetronic 3-pin XLR In/Out connectors. Rated power consumption is 170W on AC 110–240V 50/60Hz mains.
