Optical Train and LED Emitters
The GML EXTERIOR 740 IP is engineered for architectural wash and outdoor stage illumination. Its light engine houses seven 40W quad-color RGBW LEDs. The system provides tunable color temperature adjustment spanning 3000K to 7600K. A motorized optical assembly alters the field angle smoothly across a 5° to 45° zoom range.
Dimming Capabilities and Control Protocols
Electronic intensity regulation delivers 0–100% linear fading across four user-selectable dimming curve profiles. Output timing incorporates flicker-free modulation for television broadcast cameras. The electronic shutter pulses from 0.3 to 20 flashes per second. Control compliance includes standard DMX512, RDM, and optional 2.4 GHz W-DMX wireless reception.
Die-Cast Aluminum Enclosure and Thermal Control
The fixture body is constructed from die-cast aluminum rated to IP65 weather resistance across temperatures from -40°C to +45°C. The cooling architecture offers Max and Smart/Silent fan modes for low-noise environments. Field connections feature weather-sealed Seetronic PowerCon True1 in/out mains terminals and Seetronic 3-pin XLR data sockets.
