Concept and Optical Performance
The GML PATT LIGHT IP is an IP65 all-weather multi-layered stage retro blinder designed for music festivals, stadium touring, and high-impact broadcast spectacles. The optical architecture integrates three independent illumination layers: a 600W RGBLAC 6-in-1 main light engine, a circular Patt ring containing 36 × 3W RGB LEDs, and an ambient background array of 90 × 0.5W RGB LEDs. The optical array provides a 55° spot angle with tunable CCT from 1800 to 8500 K.
Chassis and Thermal Engineering
Constructed with a heavy-duty galvanized steel and aluminum alloy body, the luminaire operates reliably across demanding touring environments. Heat dissipation is achieved via a dedicated aluminum alloy heat sink paired with a silent waterproof fan and active thermal safeguarding. Operational temperatures range from -40°C to +45°C with startup down to -20°C.
Control and Connectivity
Control protocols include USITT DMX512 and RDM across 9 operating profiles (1CH / 3CH / 6CH / 10CH / 12CH / 13CH / 15CH / 21CH / 37CH) for layered programming. Firmware maintenance is supported via the standard DMX signal line. Fast strobe capability covers 1 to 25 Hz alongside selectable PWM refresh frequencies from 900 Hz to 25 kHz for camera broadcast setups. Dimensions are 632 × 652 × 325 mm with a net weight of 13.4 kg.
