Optical Engine and White LED Emitter

The GML LED 600W FOLLOW SPOT operates with an imported 600W white LED engine rated for 25,000 hours of service. Its optical train maintains a color rendering index exceeding CRI>90 to reproduce natural skin tones and costume textures accurately. The luminaire provides three preset color temperatures at 3200K, 4500K, and 5600K. The beam angle adjusts manually from 8° to 12°.

Beam Shaping, Iris, and Color Selection

The beam path incorporates a manual putter-driven iris diaphragm, manual optical focus sliders, and a color wheel with five dichroic colors plus open white (red, orange, yellow, green, and blue). Projection throw distances span 10 to 60 meters. Operators can manage adjustments via onboard manual controls or integrate the unit via 5-channel DMX512 data link.

Thermal Engineering and Chassis Build

The housing uses an all-aluminum alloy architecture. High-efficiency thermal dissipation relies on six 8 mm copper heat pipes conducting thermal energy into a 132-fin aluminum radiator assembly assisted by a heavy-duty cooling fan. Thermal overload protection prevents overheating during continuous theater and stadium show runs.
