Optical Engine and High-Output LED Module

The GML FOLLOW SPOT 1200 IP is an industrial-grade long-throw follow spotlight and gobo projector engineered for stadium venues, arenas, and outdoor festival stages. At its core is a 1200W solid-state LED engine generating a luminous output of 66,000 lumens with a service life exceeding 20,000 operational hours. A 200 mm optical condenser lens delivers high center-to-edge beam uniformity. The motorized zoom system ranges from a concentrated 4.5° beam to a wide 25° field, paired with electronic focus for projection of static gobo patterns.

Chromatic Architecture, Iris, and Dynamics

Beam modulation features an electronic color wheel loaded with 6 dichroic selections (Open, High-CRI, Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange) alongside a dedicated electronic CCT disc variable from 3000K to 8500K. An electronic iris provides continuous aperture scaling for targeted performer framing. Built-in dynamics include 7 static gobo apertures, four selectable dimming curves, high-speed shutter strobe from 1 to 25 Hz, and user-adjustable PWM frequencies spanning 3 kHz to 25 kHz for camera flicker elimination.

IP55 Housing and Control Topology

The rugged enclosure is fabricated from stainless steel and structural aluminum alloy, achieving an ingress protection rating of IP55 against outdoor precipitation. Heat dissipation is maintained through high-efficiency aluminum heat-pipe radiators and speed-regulated low-noise cooling fans with automated thermal shutdown. The operator workstation includes a 2.8-inch display, tactile rotary encoders, and balanced pan/tilt guidance handles. Network control supports USITT DMX512 and RDM across 7CH and 10CH profiles. Dimensions are 842 × 305 × 330 mm with a weight of 26 kg.
