Product Overview

Concept & Optical Performance

GML BSW 420M IP is an all-weather IP66 Beam Spot Wash hybrid moving head built into a lightweight, rugged magnesium-aluminum alloy (Magnalium) housing. Powered by an Ushio 420W discharge lamp through a 138mm front optic, it delivers 190,000 lx at 15m in 2° beam configuration with a versatile 2–40° motorized zoom range.

Key Functional Features

  • Optics & Zoom: 138mm front lens, 2–40° linear motorized zoom, linear focus, and independent frost filter for wash transitions.
  • Color Engine CMY + CTO: linear CMY color mixing, 3200–7500 K CTO correction, and dual color wheels supporting split colors.
  • Gobos & Animation: 11 static metal patterns plus open, 8 rotating glass gobos, and dedicated dynamic animation effects.
  • Prism Package: 8-facet and 6-facet prisms with independent bi-directional rotation.
  • IP66 Mechanics & IO: IP66 ingress rating, 540° Pan and 270° Tilt (16-bit), Seetronic PowerCON True1 and 3-pin XLR connections, 24 kg net weight.

Applications

Designed for open-air festival stages, stadium arenas, architectural lighting, and demanding outdoor touring, the fixture withstands harsh weather conditions without performance compromises.
